The Passover, the secret of the kingdom of heaven

Now many people know that the Passover is the feast of God which allows us eternal life. However, some people consider those who keep the Passover as legalists or even heretics. How pathetic! Why do some realize the fact that the Passover should be observed while others do not although they all read the same Bible? Of course, we can find the answer in the Bible.

He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them… This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. (Matthew 13:11-13)

It means that there are people who are allowed to understand the secrets of the kingdom of heaven while there are also those who are not allowed to. The Passover is a secret of the kingdom of heaven which contains the blessings of the forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. Therefore, not everyone can understand the Passover. What’s the difference between those who understand the Passover and those who don’t?

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll [the Scriptures] with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?" But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. (Revelation 5:1-4)

The Apostle John wept much on the island of Patmos when he heard the words of God would be sealed with seven seals and no one could open the scroll or even look inside it. It is natural that John could not help but cry. Since then, people could not understand the secrets of the kingdom of heaven although they see and read the Bible. It means that people were not able to know the Passover. Fortunately, however, the Bible would not be sealed for good.

Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals." Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. (Revelation 5:5-6)

It’s written that the scroll would be opened by a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, or Jesus who is the Root of David. Therefore, those who receive the Second Coming Jesus can know the secret of the kingdom of heaven or the Passover. In other words, those who keep the Passover have received the Second Coming Jesus.

Do you know who keeps the Passover today? Only the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) keeps the Passover in the world as did Jesus and the apostles 2,000 years ago. This means that the Second Coming Jesus has already come to this church. Who is the Second Coming Jesus? We cannot realize the true meaning of the Passover until we receive him. The Passover is the feast which Jesus desired to keep and the secret of the kingdom of heaven for which the Apostle John cried bitterly with the concern that it would not be observed.

Born through the Holy Spirit

This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit…. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. (Matthew 1:18-21)
Two thousand years ago, Jesus came to the earth as a human like us. He came in the flesh through the Holy Spirit. However, today’s Christians believe in that Jesus as God and say that salvation is only possible through Him. They acknowledge Jesus as the Savior though He came in the flesh. There is a reason we should believe in Jesus as God: He was born through the Holy Spirit according to the prophecy.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times. (Micah 5:2)
Like this, in the Bible, it’s written that God would be born as a baby in Bethlehem. However, the people of Israel faithfully believed in the Savior ‘written in the Bible,’ but could not believe in the Savior ‘who came according to the prophecies.’ Thus, they shouted with certainty, “Crucify him!”
Today, Christians agree that we must not repeat the same mistake, criticizing the Israelites for such an act. However unfortunately, they are also repeating the same mistake committed by the people of Israel 2,000 years ago. They are rejecting the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong who has come according to the prophecies of the Bible.
They say they cannot believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong by saying, “Jesus was born through the Holy Spirit, but Christ Ahnsahnghong was not.” And they add an absurd claim that one who was born of a virgin is through the Holy Spirit and one who was born of a couple is not.
Then, what does it mean to be born through the Holy Spirit? Not only Jesus was born after the Holy Spirit.  The Bible wrote that Isaac, Abraham’s only son, was also born after the Holy Spirit and we, who believe in God, are like Isaac. In other words, we are also born through the Holy Spirit.
Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit [after the Spirit: KJV]. It is the same now. (Galatians 4:28-29)
Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called . That is , They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come , and Sara shall have a son. And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one , even by our father Isaac; (For the children being not yet born , neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand , not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written , Jacob have I loved , but Esau have I hated. (Romans 9:7-13)
‘One through the Holy Spirit’ means one who is prophesied in advance before his/her birth like Isaac or Jacob and born according to such a prophecy. Therefore, Jesus is called ‘born through the Holy Spirit’ not because He was born of a virgin but because He came to the earth according to the prophecies.
Christ Ahnsahnghong is also prophesied in the Bible before His birth. The Bible foretold that the Second Coming Christ shall come a second time to bring salvation. There are many prophecies regarding where He would come from, when He would be born, when He would ascend to heaven and what He would do (Revelation 7:1-4; Isaiah 46:10-11; Isaiah 41:1-10; Matthew 24:32-33; Hebrews 9:28.) Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled all such prophecies, which proves that He was born through the Holy Spirit.
There is one thing we must know: we should not focus on how He was born but on whether He brought us the sign of the Christ -- the new covenant of the Passover. It was Christ Ahnsahnghong who brought us the sign of the Second Coming Christ -- the new covenant of the Passover -- and the Bible testifies that He is God (Isaiah 25:6-8.) Therefore, it’s clear that Christ Ahnsahnghong is ‘God who has come according to the prophecies of the Bible’ in this age.
In Galatians Chapter 4, the apostle Paul wrote said that brothers who remain within Heavenly Jerusalem are born after the Holy Spirit. How could he say that he and brothers who were not born of virgins were born after the Holy Spirit?

God the Mother anxiously watches Her Children

Behind the Children

When I was young, there was a time when I went downtown with my mother.

My heart was really aflutter right before we went downtown.

But I was continuously sulky after we got there.

Going from store to store, mom wanted to buy me some clothes and shoes that I liked.
However, answering half-heartedly to what she asked, I walked away from mom.

“Why, nothing suits you?”

I couldn't possibly answer that question and was continuously fretful.
We eventually went home earlier than we have planned.

On the way home, in the bus, I sat away from mom and even when we got off the bus, I
quickly walked keeping a distance from her.

I was petulant because of her shabby and unattractive appearance, and I was so
embarrassed that I wished she wasn’t my mom.

Thinking of what had happened that time, my heart breaks and wells up my eyes.

Wearing out her welcome, my mom worked hard as a cleaning woman. Thinking of her
daughter, who might be discouraged by others, she wanted to buy me a pretty dress and
shoes with her hard-earned money.

I was so sorry being embarrassed and ignoring her as an immature child.

My heart aches at the thought that she would have been behind me, watching me quickly
walking alone ahead of her, without knowing why I was sulky.

When I look at my mom, she recalls of Heavenly Mother.

Even at this moment She wishes Her children who can’t realize, to turn their backs to Her, to come into Her arms.

Mother, for 6000 years, anxiously watches Her children who are not returning.

I am so sorry to Heavenly Mother.

Now, looking at Her, I want to run in Her arms.

I thank Mother for Her deep and great love towards Her children.

Parents of our bodies and Parents of our souls

A man does not consist of body only. Humans are a combination of body and soul.

... the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground [body] and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life [soul], and the man became a living being (Genesis 2:7)

Therefore, if a man dies, the body and soul are separated and the soul returns to its former place.

... and the dust [body] returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit [soul] returns to God who gave it. (Ecclesiastes 12:7)

While the body which came from the ground returns to it, the soul which came from God returns to Him. Like this, body and soul are different and distinct in essence. So, the Bible says that our physical father and our Spiritual Father are not same:

Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! (Hebrews 12:9)

If our physical father and our Spiritual Father were identical, our physical father becomes our Spiritual Father. Or, if a man were made of body only and had no soul, there would be only our physical father and there cannot be our Spiritual Father. However, the fact that there are our physical father and our Spiritual Father respectively proves that there exist body and soul individually. Then, who is the Father of our souls?

"This, then, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name... (Matthew 6:9)

The Father of all souls is God in heaven. But we have not only our physical father but also physical mother. Then, does there exist the Mother of our souls as well? Or, is there only Father? The answer can be found in the Bible.

But the Jerusalem that is above [the heavenly Jerusalem: GNT] is free, and she is our mother. (Galatians 4:26)

The Bible teaches us that there is our Mother as well as our Father in heaven. It's very strange. Why do we have to have our Father and Mother in heaven just as we have our father and mother on the earth? What's the reason?

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. (Romans 1:18-20)

All visible things were created by God to reflect God's invisible qualities--His eternal power and divine nature. Body and soul are clearly distinct elements. Our body cannot exist without our physical father and mother, which shows the principle that our soul also cannot exist without our Spiritual Father and Mother. The existence of our body causes us not to deny the existence of father and mother who gave it to us. Therefore, the existence of our soul proves the existence of Father and Mother who gave it to us.

The Bible is really the amazing Words of God which make us realize spiritual principles and God's divine nature through this world we are living in. We should know and believe in God the Father and God the Mother testified by the Bible and all things in this world.

… until the kingdom of God comes

Those who slander the World Mission Society Church of God (Witness of Ahnsahnghong) claim that they do not need to celebrate the Passover of the new covenant by citing Luke 22:

For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.” After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you. For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” (Luke 22:16-28)

They say, “Since Jesus said that he would not keep the Passover until the kingdom of God comes, it’s not necessary to keep the Passover.” In other words, they say that the Passover must be observed in the kingdom of heaven because the kingdom of God means the kingdom of heaven.

At first glance, it appears that the Passover of the new covenant should not be celebrated on this earth according to their argument. It sounds plausible but given just a wee bit of thought, you can realize how non-biblical their insistence is.

What is the Passover of the new covenant for? It is the feast through which we can have the forgiveness of sins (Matthew 26:17-28.) If their claim is correct, sinners who are not entitled to enter the kingdom of heaven will celebrate the Passover at the kingdom of heaven (Revelation 14:5.) It is nonsense! Since they do not know about the basics of the feasts, they claim non-biblical claims such as they will celebrate the Passover in heaven or they will receive the forgiveness of sins there.

What does “the kingdom of God” mean?

He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. (Luke 21:29-31)

Jesus taught in parables that “the kingdom of God” is near “when the fig tree sprouts leaves.” Also, the book of Matthew clearly reveals when the kingdom of God comes through the parable of the fig tree.

Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it [he] is near, right at the door. (Matthew 24:32-33)

From these two verses, we can know that “the kingdom of God comes when the Son of Man or the Second Coming Jesus comes in the flesh.” Therefore, the words of Jesus “I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes (Luke 22:18)” mean that He will keep the Passover when He appears a second time. It implies that only the Second Coming Jesus is able to establish the Passover.

Then, what does it mean that the World Mission Society Church of God celebrates the Passover? It is evidence that the Second Coming Jesus, who is the only One who can establish the Passover, has come. That is, the kingdom of God has already come.

Will you still insist that the Passover should be kept in heaven while seeing and hearing every prophecy of the Bible and its fulfillment like this? You cannot enter the kingdom of heaven without having the forgiveness of sins on this earth. You still have an opportunity: You have to know the Second Coming Christ who established the Passover, before it’s too late.

The greatest miracle in the world

Which one is the greater miracle: Rising from the dead or living eternally?

Of course, the latter is. Even if someone rises from the dead, he will die again some day. Eternal living is really the greatest miracle in the world. “Eternal life”? the area which has not been accomplished even by the state-of-the-art medical science and which will not be fulfilled by men. 2,000 years ago, God let mankind, who were destined to die, know how to experience the miracle of living forever. He allowed it through the Passover of the new covenant

Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life … (John 6:53-54)

And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer… “This [Bread] is my body … This cup [Wine] is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you. (Luke 22:15-20)

However, Satan, who watched thirstily for a chance to destroy God’s work, abolished the Passover at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD.

Christ Ahnsahnghong, God who has come again, said as follows to let us know what the greatest miracle in the world is and how important the Passover is:

People say that the manna which came down from heaven in the wilderness is a miracle, and they say that raising Lazarus from the dead is a miracle.

Yet, in the eyes of God, neither being cured of diseases nor rising from the dead is a miracle.

All people including Lazarus and those who ate the manna in the wilderness died.

However, those who eat and drink the flesh and blood of Jesus will live even though they die; and they will never die.

Obtaining eternal life by eating the bread of life!

Giving life through the Passover to those who are to die; there is no greater miracle than this.

The most important thing to us is the flesh and blood of Jesus, which was allowed through His death on the cross.

In this age, we should not seek miracles and signs.

We should seek eternal life.

We must understand deeply and cherish this covenant of life God gives us, and must always give thanks to God.”

I pray that all people around the world will experience the greatest miracle in the world: living forever with the flesh and blood God which was allowed through His death on the cross.

My Mirror, God the Mother

My Mirror

When I eat lunch with my daughter in Zion, I get really nervous.

Seeing Nelly dropping food while she eats or hearing her romping around, I give her that frowning face.

But that was just for that moment.
Eventually she would just be romping around noisily.

Though I talked to her to behave nicely and to be quiet while she eats, she just forgets all of it at an instant, which upsets me.

Whenever that happened, I felt like my image was damaged and I was afraid that I would have the stigma of a mother who can’t educate her daughter. So when I clench my teeth and say “I’ll see you at home,” at last, Nelly gets quiet.

It reminds me of my mom’s moan that “Your child is the enemy.”

Nelly was always my concern. I worried that she might make mistakes, behave rudely and be blamed, as she would always be restless and forget about things.

Being upset, I told my husband sulkily.

“Look at her, all restless and distracted. She looks just like you...”

Whenever I saw Nelly being naughty, It old him that Nelly looked like him. My husband would usually let my joke passed by, but today my husband looked at me as if he really had something to say to me.

“Darling, did you know that Nelly was praying to be like her mom before going to bed? Don’t you think Nelly resembles you?”

I thought I received a severe blow on my head.

Myself... Myself?

How about myself? What kind of daughter am I to Heavenly Mother?

Do I resemble Mother?

Even today, wouldn't She be upset seeing my insufficient self?

According to my sinful deeds, even now, wouldn't she be ashamed of me?

Why am I so foolish? Why couldn't I see myself?

I felt so sorry to Nelly that she was praying to God with her two small hands together so that she could resemble me.Most of all, I felt so sorry to Heavenly Mother.

A child’s faults are mom’s portion. She was my mirror...

You can just tell without being told who the parents were or the children.

The children just resemble the parents.

Appearances, personalities, the way they walk, appetites, likes, and even dislikes...

How much do I resemble Heavenly Mother?

Even though Her children acts in an opposing way, She wouldn't rebuke and prays for Her children. Though She is mocked and ridiculed by their faults, She would feel sorry for Her children’s weakness and would smile. My Mother of Love...

How much do I resemble Mother?

I didn't realize that my daughter’s faults were my faults, and that she was I, myself.

I hated so much that my image was tarnished because of my daughter, and that I had to be embarrassed.

If someone praised my daughter, I just wanted her to be praised, thinking that the praise she has received was for me and I just wanted to be honored. I am so embarrassed today seeing my foolish self.

I will first resemble Heavenly Mother.

Mother’s smile, Mother’s way of speaking, Mother’s love and sacrifice for Her children...

I will become a mom who looks just like Heavenly Mother, so that I wouldn't be a disgrace for my daughter.

For Mother, I will become only joy for Her, and cooling water on a hot summer day.
