A tool for killing people vs. a tool for saving people

A tool can be used for both good and evil. For example, a knife used by a surgeon can contribute to saving people’s lives. But a knife, grasped by a murderer’s hand, will be used for killing people. The same knife can be a tool for saving people or for killing people depending on who will use it.

God granted us a tool -- the Bible. But it can save or kill our souls depending on who will interpret it.

… But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll [the Bible] or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” (Revelation 5:3-5)

… His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. (2 Peter 3:16)

The results will be opposite depending on who will interpret and explain the Bible. Interpretation of the Bible by the Root of David will save our souls while interpretation by ones who are not the Root of David will lead our souls to destruction. Such false prophets teach the saints with man-made rules.

Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” he will answer, “I don’t know how to read.” The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder; the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.” (Isaiah 29:12-14)

Those who teach people with man-made rules are not different from a murderer with a knife because they lead people’s souls to death. Rules taught by men include Sunday Service, Christmas, crosses and Thanksgiving Day. These commandments are not found in the Bible at all. That is, such teachings are not recorded in the Bible. Since they do keep non-biblical days and festivals, they cannot help but twist the Bible with various excuses. So the Bible, grasped by false prophets who teach man-made rules, becomes a tool for killing our souls.

The Bible, interpreted by the Root of David, is the tool for saving our souls. The Root David teaches people with God’s commandments not man-made rules. God’s commandments include the Sabbath, the Passover and regulation on covering women’s heads (Luke 4:16; Matthew 26:17-28; 1 Corinthians 11:1-16.)

Just as a knife, grasped by a surgeon, will save patients, so the Bible, interpreted by the Root of David, will save your souls.

It is finished

Some people claim that the Second Coming of Jesus is not needed because Jesus said “It is finished,” in order to deny the mission of the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong believed in by the World Mission Society Church of God. Then, didn’t Jesus carry out the Work of Redemption any longer after He said, “It is finished”?

After Jesus, who had said “It is finished” and then died, was resurrected, He appeared to the disciples over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God to continue His Work of Redemption. In addition, He poured out the Spirit onto the disciples and apostles, and led the history of the Spirit. In other words, He continued His Work of Redemption even after He said, “It is finished.”

Then, what does “It is finished” mean? It means that Jesus accomplished all prophecies of the Bible which had to be done through the Crucifixion. Jesus said, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.” His Redemption Work will be complete when the eternal rest, prophesied in the book of Revelation, comes. Therefore, those who claim that there cannot be mission of the Second Coming because Jesus said “It is finished” deny God’s Work of Redemption since the Crucifixion.

The witness of the Apostle Paul proves that Christ must come again. How will they understand this evidence of Paul?

So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. (Hebrews 9:28)

A life not in vain

It is said that the world-conqueror Alexander the Great had Aristotle as his teacher and learned from him philosophy, ethics and politics in his childhood. One day, Aristotle asked the young prince Alexander: “What will you do when you become king?”

“First of all, I will conquer Asia Minor,” Alexander replied.
The teacher asked him again:
“What will you do after conquering Minor Asia?”
“I will conquer Palestine and Egypt.”
“What will you do after you conquer them?”
“I will conquer Persia and India.”
The prince answered outspokenly. Aristotle asked him the same question once again.
“What will you do after you conquer Persia and India?”
Then Alexander answered as follows:
“I’ll probably die by then.”

The final answer of the great hero, who had more power and wealth than any one had ever had before, was “I will also die.” Actually, Alexander the Great died of a serious fever at the age of 33 while returning from his Indian expedition after conquering many countries.

Our lives are not different. Sometimes, we might hear news that someone, who breathed together in the same room and planned the future together just a few days ago, has unexpectedly died. Are there more appropriate expressions which describe such a situation but ‘vain life’? For this reason, Solomon must have said, “Meaningless! Meaningless! Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.”

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole [duty] of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)

The most blessed and meaning thing in our lives is to fear God and keep His commandments. This is the whole duty of man and the way to live forever in the kingdom of heaven. There is a method God gave us to lead us to heaven where our lives continue for eternity.

Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life… (John 6:54)

Jesus said that we should eat and drink the Passover bread and wine which represents His flesh and blood in order to have eternal life (Matthew 26:17-28.) If we follow His words, we can have eternal life and enter the kingdom of heaven.

The Bible says that there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain in the kingdom of heaven (Revelation 21:4.) It’s also written that the kingdom of heaven is the most glorious place we even cannot imagine (1 Corinthians 2:9.) God came in the flesh to lead us to such a glorious place. Considering His grace, we need to do our best to obey what God commanded us not to make His love and efforts in vain… and not to make our lives in vain.

The letter of the Apostle John

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense–Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands [And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments: ASV]. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. (1 John 2:1-6)

P.S.) The Apostle John wrote that we should obey God’s commandments in order not to sin. We cannot know the existence of God and His love until we keep His commandments. On the contrary, those who do not obey God’s commandments are liars, and the truth is not in them. God’s commandments include the Sabbath day and the seven feasts of three times including the Passover (Exodus 31:13; Luke 4:16; Matthew 26:7-29; 1 Corinthians 5:7-8.)
Please value God’s commandments for your sins to be forgiven. Also please do not sin again to enter the kingdom of heaven.

We should worship Elohim God not sun god.

Who are they?

We can easily know who someone is through his actions.

For example, if a man is beating a wood block towards a Buddha statute repeating the name of Amitabha, he must be a Buddhist. Even though he does not mention his religion, we can recognize that he is a Buddhist by his actions.

And if some people gather in a specific place on Friday afternoon and bow down to Mecca, who are they? They are Muslims. Although they do not explain what religion they have, we can know they are Muslims by considering their actions.

By the way, there are people who keep Christmas, the birthday of Mithras or sun god, and Sunday, the worship day of sun god. Who are they?

He said to me, "Do you see this, son of man? You will see things that are even more detestable than this." He then brought me into the inner court of the house of the LORD, and there at the entrance to the temple, between the portico and the altar, were about twenty-five men. With their backs toward the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east. (Ezekiel 8:15-16)

People worship sun god within the house of God where they have to give praise to and worship God. Such things are detestable to God. Those who participate in the sun god worship rituals are sun-god worshipers, not God's children. Their behaviors prove it.

WMSCOG knows the tool for saving people

A tool for killing people vs. a tool for saving people (Edit)

Server not found

 ‘Server not found’

You might have been embarrassed at the above message while browsing the Internet. There are various reasons which cause an error: “the specified server could not to be found.” Among them, a network issue is the biggest factor contributing to this error. The Internet can be understood as a network of networks which consist of lots of gateway nodes and host nodes. A gateway is a network node that allows you to gain entrance into a network and vice versa. Simply put, a gateway can be called an entrance to the Internet. If there is something wrong with the gateway, the above message appears.

The “Server not found” error can also occur with regards to our souls. It takes place when we cannot find the spiritual gateway correctly. Jesus said that he is the gateway for our souls.

Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep… I [Jesus] am the gate… I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:7-10)

Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you…” (John 6:53)

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matthew 26:26-28)

Our spiritual gateway is the Second Coming Jesus who gives us life through the Passover. If you have not found the gateway of the Passover and do not know the Second Coming Christ, you will never access the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you try to access, you will encounter a message saying: “Server not found” (Matthew 7:21-23.)

The core of the Bible, Ahnsahnghong!

The core of the Bible

Many people read the Bible. Why do they read it? Some try to get literary value and others want to learn valuable life lessons from the Bible. However, the most important purpose of reading the Bible is to seek and find the way of eternal life and the kingdom of heaven. What is the core of the Bible?

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me (John 5:39)

The core of the Bible is Christ testified to by it. No human beings can see or know the spiritual world. Only Christ is able to know the spiritual world and teach us the way to the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, Christ is essential for the salvation of our souls. If we meet Christ, we can know the way to the kingdom of heaven, and if not, we cannot find the way to the heaven. For this reason, Jesus said that we should know Christ to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3)

2000 years ago, the disciples who met Christ could find the way to the kingdom of heaven through his teachings. But as the time passed by, the way taught by Jesus disappeared by Satan who tried to disturb the Work of God’s Redemption (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 5:1.) How can we, human beings who lost the way of salvation, find it again? The Bible prophesies that Christ is to appear once again for our salvation.

So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. (Hebrews 9:28)

If someone says that he knows the Bible well but if he does not know Christ who has appeared a second time, he actually knows nothing about salvation and eternal life. Some people say that they must see the Bible as a whole, not partially. It’s quite right if it means that the Bible must be understood in the context of the overall Work of Redemption.

The Work of Redemption is being progressed by God the Holy Spirit following the Father and the Son. In these days, the core of the salvation of the age of the Holy Spirit is God the Holy Spirit or the Second Coming Christ. Those who do not know the Second Coming Christ cannot realize salvation and eternal life whether they see the Bible partially or as a whole. It’s because it is Christ who makes us realize it (Revelation 5:1-5; John 14:26.)

If you really desire salvation, you must abandon stereotypes. The Bible is a mere book to those who cannot realize Christ, the core of the Bible.

The reason it’s written that God ‘alone’ created the heavens and the earth while two God did

The Bible says that God the Father and God the Mother created the heavens and the earth.
Then God [Elohim] said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)
In Genesis Chapter 1 which described the process of the Creation, God is referred to as ‘Elohim,’ the plural form. In addition, the plural pronoun ‘Us’ was used. If there were only one God, God should been referred to as the singular noun ‘El’ or ‘Eloah,’ and the singular pronoun ‘Me’ should been used. God the Creator is not only one. From the passage “Male and female were created in the image of God,” we can understand that there are two Gods: God the Father and God the Mother.
However, in other verse, it’s written that God ‘alone’ created the heavens and the earth.
I am the LORD, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself (Isaiah 44:24)
Why is it written that God ‘alone’ created the heavens and the earth in the book of Isaiah while it’s written that two Gods did in the book of Genesis? Is one of the two verses wrong? Or, is the Bible contradictory? No. God let us know the reason through Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, who were created in the image of God.
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)
It’s obvious that Adam and Eve are two individuals, who existed as a man and a woman respectively. However, it’s written that Adam and Eve will be united and become one flesh. Therefore, in the Bible, it’s referred to as one man or Adam as the representative when mentioning Adam and Eve together.
Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come. But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man [Adam]… (Romans 5:14-15)
It was not just Adam alone who committed the sin of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Both Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge; moreover Eve did first. However, the Bible wrote the sin of the tree of the knowledge as that of one man. It’s because Adam and Eve are considered one, being united, and Adam is referred to as the representative. This shows the reason it’s written that God ‘alone’ created the heavens and the earth, by uniting God the Father and God the Mother.
Adam and Eve are the first man and woman, who were created in the image of God the Father and God the Mother. God expressed the sin of Adam and Eve as that of ‘one man’ and referred to Adam as the representative of the two. In the same way, while God the Father and God the Mother performed the Creation together, it’s expressed that God ‘alone’ did and God the Father is presented as the representative of the Creation Work.
Some people deny the holy divine nature of two Gods seen through what has been made, without knowing the profound meaning of the Bible. However, the Bible clearly testifies to God the Father and God the Mother from the first Chapter of Genesis to the last Chapter of Revelation.

Father Ahnsahnghong, Your Eternal Love.

Father’s love that I later realized

My father raised us; three children, all alone.

And among those children, he loved me most, who resembled him.

During childhood, he used to take me on his motorcycle when he went hunting or fishing.

I also loved to follow him wherever he went.

As I became a junior high, I liked hanging around with my friends instead of spending time with my father.

“Your dad’s here.”

It was when we were having P.E.

I quickly said it wasn’t my father and ran away.

Noticing that I was embarrassed of him, he silently left without calling my name.

From that day, he didn’t visit my school.

As I became a grownup, I started to come home really late.

My father used to save meat dishes that he made for dinner. Then, he would call me to his room and fed me.

With annoyed look and voice, I would go to my room, saying that I was exhausted and sleepy.

In those years, I couldn’t realize.

The love of my father who waited for me spending all night without sleep, making sure the room was warm enough.

There was a time when I received a gallstone operation.

Since I had no mother, it was my father’s duty to look after me.

My gallstone got infected after the operation and had to be hospitalized for a month.

My father would come to the hospital 7 in the morning and went home 11 in the evening.

Though he spent his whole month for me, this immature daughter was annoyed of him being closed to me and thinking that my friends were uncomfortable with him, I would go to places where he was not present.

I would fume and fret to my father who looked after me every day.

I even starved myself saying that I’ve lost my appetite.

My father would then pack some food at home and come to the hospital which took 3 hours by bus.

Worrying that I needed to eat well in order to take strong medicine, he would always prepare the food nice and warm.

Early morning till late night he would only consider me, but I fumed and fretted and was annoyed with him.

When I finally realized my father’s silent love, he was no longer with me.

That regret still remains in my heart thinking that I should have realized sooner.

As time passes by, I realize how deep and wide my father’s love was.

And then I started to think about Heavenly Father.

I see myself how carelessly I considered Heavenly Father’s untiring love, coming to this earth to give us life.

How painful his heart must have been whenever I neglected Father’s love.

I promised myself not to leave regret in my heart again.

As a child who has received Heavenly Father’s great love, I now want to get on his side and become a child who can give him joy.

God the Mother's Love Everywhere

Mother’s love everywhere

On Sunday afternoon, I had some time left after preaching.   Suddenly, ‘Roola’ brought to my mind.  She was a female youth whom I met and studied the Bible with last week, even though I couldn't see her again because of her tight schedule since then. Hoping to see her to give a brochure, I headed for the shopping mall where she works.  I thought a short time should be enough to see her but the shopping mall was literally a sea of people.  I didn't even know how long it took to find the parking space.  Various kinds of people were fully packed, gathering together with family and friends.

Normally, I used to see her from a distance and turned back, worrying if she could feel uncomfortable, since her coworker and boss were always at the store.  That day, however, Roola was the only one at the store for some reasons, despite it was a very busy day.  I sincerely gave thanks to Father and Mother.
I passed on the brochure about the Passover and Heavenly Mother to Roola, who felt sorry not to have contacted me because of her busy schedule.  We finally decided to meet again sometime and have a bible study together.  I was going to come back to Zion but it was difficult to do that because there were many people gathered together, who should hear of the good news about Heavenly Father and Mother.  So, I decided to take a few minutes to preach the words of God and then leave.  Now that people seemed to be free afternoon, there were many people who listened to preaching. Meanwhile, one female youth started to speak after watching UCC about the Spirit and the Bride.

“Oh, I know this.  It is about God Mother, isn't it?”

“Do you know Her?”

“Yes, God the Mother.  I have heard about it.”

Her name was Christy and she said she has heard about Heavenly Mother when she used to go to a University from 2 hours distance.  Moving in after graduating school, she lost contact with people who used to deliver the words of God to her but now, she could hear the truth about Heavenly Mother once again.  In the United States of America consisting of 50 states, it has large land and countless people enough to say there are 50 different countries gathered.  I was so glad to meet someone who has heard of the truth in this far place.  While preaching to others after exchanging contact numbers and saying hi to her, I could meet a female youth, ‘Christine’.  However, this youth clearly remember Heavenly Mother even though she said she couldn't study the Bible that much.  I strongly felt she must be the one Heavenly Mother is anxiously searching for. That way, I was given a mission to deliver the water of life to souls who have the seeds of words in hearts, which were scattered through Mother’s love.  At that moment, I could feel how much love Mother has toward even one single soul despite he/she does not realize the truth at all.  Mother does not give up on him/her and rather with full of care and efforts, She keeps sending the messengers so he/she could hear the truth again.

Under the love and sacrifice of Mother who never gives up one single soul, the gospel continues to be spread around the whole world.  Now I could see what the gospel is about with Mother’s heart and mind.  That day, Mother awoke me, who used to preach the words of God from a sense of duty at some point.

I give thanks to God who allows this sinful child to step outside today and participate in the gospel of Mother’s love

Do the things Abraham did

"Abraham did not do such things."

This is what Jesus said to the Jews who alleged that they were the children of Abraham. Why did Jesus deny the blood of the Jews who were the actual offspring of Abraham? What's the difference between Abraham and them?

“… I [Jesus] am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you do what you have heard from your father." "Abraham is our father," they answered. "If you were Abraham's children," said Jesus, "then you would do the things Abraham did. As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. (John 8:38-40)

In the past, Abraham had met God who had appeared just as the Jews met God in the flesh. At that time, how did Abraham receive God?

The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men [God and two angels] standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. He said, "If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way--now that you have come to your servant." "Very well," they answered, "do as you say." (Genesis 18:1-5)

Abraham treated God who appeared as a man with best butter and milk, and a calf dish. So, God allowed Abraham to have a son "Isaac" and blessed him, giving such titles as "the father of faith" and "the father of many nations." Receiving God in the flesh; it's what Abraham did.

The Bible prophesies that God is to appear in the flesh "a second time" to bring salvation to those who are waiting in the last days. Moreover, in these days, not only God the Father but also God the Mother, His bride, is to come together.

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)

Jesus said, "If you were Abraham's children, then you would do the things Abraham did." In this age, those who accept the Holy Spirit God the Father and the bride God the Mother who have come in the flesh to give us the water of life are Abraham's children.

The World Mission Society Church of God cleaned up Subhash Park

On Sunday, the World Mission Society Church of God performed a clean-up campaign at Subhash Park.
"We carried out this campaign to have awareness of making and keeping our neighborhood clean, including our houses on Sunday," said Niru Berry, a member of the Society. As part of such an effort, the members performed clean-up and picked up trash at Subhash Park.
Many members of the Church of God participated in this round of campaign, including Reka Lantom, Jessica Joseph and Nixon John. They said that the World Mission Society Church of God had been conducting various community services.

The Things God Hates

Those who do not keep God's feasts such as the Sabbath and the Passover quote the following verse to justify their faith:
Your New Moon festivals and your appointed feasts my soul hates. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. (Isaiah 1:14)
Does this verse really mean that God hates such feasts as the Sabbath and the Passover? Why does He hate the feasts He appointed? There is something that is not consistent. We should see the context of before and after when reading the Bible. It's hard to understand the exact meaning with a single verse only. Let's see the context of before and after Isaiah 1:14.
Hear, O heavens! Listen, O earth! For the LORD has spoken: "I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me... Ah, sinful nation, a people loaded with guilt, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him...  Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah!... Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations-- I cannot bear your evil assemblies. Your New Moon festivals and your appointed feasts my soul hates. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. (Isaiah 1:2-14)
To whom does He say this? God said this to people who have rebelled against God and have done wickedness in the eyes of God. Will those who have committed sin against God and who are corrupters keep God's feasts truthfully? It's obvious that they will not. On the contrary, the prophet Isaiah wrote clearly that the Sabbath should be kept.
Blessed is the man who does this, the man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil. (Isaiah 56:2)
The fourth commandment of the Ten Commandments is about the Sabbath day. It's written in many places of the Bible that the seven feasts should be observed as well as the Sabbath.
These are the LORD's appointed feasts, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times: The LORD's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. On the fifteenth day of that month the LORD's Feast of Unleavened Bread begins... "Say to the Israelites: 'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the LORD's Feast of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for seven days....'" (Leviticus 23:4-5; 34)
He [Jesus Christ] went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. (Luke 4:16)
And he said to them, "I [Jesus] have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. (Luke 22:15)
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place (Acts 2:1)
But when the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near... Not until halfway through the Feast did Jesus go up to the temple courts and begin to teach...
